Vintage Hungarian weighted tournament chess pieces. cca 1960s. 

A rare design with those grinning face knights!

I'm not sure the material is bakelite or plastic. But it's a hard material. Not some crappy plastic. 

Condition: The weights are missing from a lot of pieces (photo 6). A black rook is slightly damaged. Complete set.

The king's height is 3.1"
